Hari Peladang, Penternak dan Nelayan 2005

Booths

Celebrations to commemorate Hari Peladang, Penternak dan Nelayan (Farmers, Breeders and Fishermen Day) 2005 are underway at the Tamu KPD grounds near Kota Kinabalu. The various open aired stalls have been temporarily converted into showcases whereby various agencies are displaying the newest products and innovation in the field of agriculture. The theme for this year is "Pertanian suatu perniagaan" (Agriculture is a type of business) most probably to highlight efforts to modernise the field of agriculture as well as to dispel the notion that it is a low technology venture whereas business practices can be used to improve agriculture practices as well as to better market the products.
