Pachyderm Amorous

A pair of elephants (pachyderm) at the elephant enclosure at Zoo Negara (National Zoo). It might not look it but the guy elephant was getting amorous with the gal and the following shots (which I cannot publish here) would make any couple envious. I always liked Zoo Negara, its been there forever and is really an oasis in the midst of the city where people can still see nature up close. Recent works have made the enclosure more natural and humane than the previous animal behind bars concept. It's lucky that they didn't force the zoo to move to Paya Indah as they intended in the past. Selangor, Malaysia, 2005.
