At the Bolinao Cock Pit I met a man who told me that watching the cock fights was his greatest passion. He never misses the weekly events even once all his time here in the Philippines and during his younger years of travelling the world he missed this event greatly, so much so that he took the decision to come back to his homeland and settle in Bolinao where on weekends he can always be found at the cock pits, watching the contesting birds in their battles, placing bets on the victor and generally enjoying the friendship of those that share the same passion as him.
