Oktoberfest at 1 Utama, German Food and Music

Bacons-and-Sausage

Freshly grilled bacon bits and sausages, Oktoberfest, 1 Utama, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Oktoberfest celebrations at 1Utama held from 24 October to 28 October was a blast. Besides the cheap beer there's more to offer to non drinkers such as a taste of German food. German favourites such as the Kassler bacon, meatloaf, Thuringer Bratwurst, German Pepper Sausage, Hungarian Spicy Sausage, Roast Pork were selling for RM10 to RM15, all served with sauerkraut, potato salad and a side of bun with thick gravy and hot mustard. If that wasn't enough the Inntaler Musikanten were spouting traditional German tunes and yodeling as they ask you to lift you glasses to toast. I got myself the Thuringer Bratwurst which for RM15 was quite a large portion and left me filled to the brim.
