Well, sometimes shit just happens. Sadly, it happens mostly to us who cares enough for both our work and our loved ones. Its called being responsible and with a conscience, but then again, responsible people with conscience are usually not appreciated...
Its called your boss would rather have someone single with no other commitments and willing to work your butt off with his work till ungodly hours and he wouldn't have to pay OT for it.
